Description
Our Caucasian Queens are descendants of breeder queens from John Covey in Queensland.
We mate our queens at our yard in Numeralla, NSW. Since we “branched off” from John’s queens, we have worked on acclimated bees for our cooler regions. We continue to select on the basis of gentleness and productivity.
Our queens are not banked. They head a colony at our mating yard until they are sold.
When purchased, our queens are marked and provided in a JZBZ enclosure with around five attendant bees and fondant.
Caucasian queen bees are available from mid-late November of each year.
